Schmuck? Is that a Jew term for genius? Not even a 1% chance huh? We will see on draft day, non-schmuck. You sure they didn't circumcise half your brain as a child? Challenged me to a ban? How about this, if I lose by the JETS taking Mayfield or Allen over Barkley at 3, I will always address you as MR. Football Genius. Or Schmuck if you prefer the translation. If I win........?
I sense some anti-Antisemitism in your remarks, but that's fine. I don't need anything from you if I win, but if you want to address me as a football genius then by all means do so. It does not take a genius to realize that we're going QB at 3, 1000% though. Lol But yes, I'm 10000% confident we'd take any of the 4 QBs at 3 over a damn RB.
How did it turn out the last time our team moved up to grab a FQB? You realize Sean Payton even said this QB class is over-rated? Look what his team did this year with a pair of great RB's? Do you even know what a RB like Barkley would do for a team like ours? Probably not considering your view of football. Playmakers make average QB's look good. We don't have any playmakers. Please factor in the context of the situation for us...... Does our team look favorable for a rookie QB that ran an offense in college that he won't be using in the NFL? Does moving up to grab a project like Allen look favorable? Will either of those two be able to unseat McCown or Bridgewater in the offseason to be our FQB? Don't be surprised when our rookie O-Coordinator, GM and Coach (both on the hot seat may I add for the next season or two at most), look to improve the team by giving the QB's we have weapons to move forward with. We moved up to take 1 of the 2 best QB's in the draft. Not 4, that's outlandish. Losing the 2nd round picks for a player yet to be determined, does not guarantee our staff taking the 3rd QB in the draft. We moved up to get one of the two. If they don't fall, and both go 1&2, Barkley (the best player in the draft) will be the pick. You don't lose 3 2nd round picks for QB only, regardless of the talent differences. That's stupid. Since you are using stupid analogies to try to prove your point, how about this one..... Charlie Ward won the heisman, was a much better athlete than Mayfield, and didn't even get drafted. How does that bode for your guy Mayfield being the QB of the future at METLIFE? If Mac believes that Mayfield will be an ALLPRO QB in the NFL, and can lead this team out of the rebuild and have us contending for SUPER BOWLS in the near future...... He is as dim-witted as you my friend. I don't believe he is yet. Barkley is a high character, high production player barring injury. Everybody is an injury away in the NFL, so you can't use that excuse. Do you remember that Bowles said we would feature the run game more this coming season? What a better way to do so, than to put a Lamborgini in our backfield. McCown and Bridgewater could sure use the help, considering we have ZERO playmakers on our team. Is all of this out of your capacity to understand? Probably. Your understanding of football resembles a kid who is trying to figure out how to play on dynasty mode. Keep trying young man. Just don't strain your little brain in the process.
If you think I'm going to reply to your wall of garbage, then you have another thing coming. LMAO Don't cry a week from now, okay buddy?
What are Mac's chances of getting a FQB by selecting the 3rd best in the draft, and keeping his job? Your rationale isn't what you believe it to be. On a note that isn't football related and more important, I'm not racist by any means. If you found my stupid remark offensive, and I think you did, I take it back and thoroughly apologize. Win or lose, I would gladly buy you a beer and watch a JETS game anytime. Again I really apologize, bad joke on my behalf.
Why not reply? A retort should be in order, all valid points. Don't be mad when Barkley is a JET if our two QB's are gone. Rosen and Darnold should be his choices, otherwise it's a playmaker. Period
I'm done with him, just going to let the draft play out and then he can see how little he knows about the NFL. And that would be funny. LOL But my point and odds at 0.0% stands on any non QB player.
Woah woah, I never asked for should (even though I absolutely disagree when you move up), I'm arguing for what WILL occur. You can want Barkley all you want which is cool, but I'm talking about what WILL happen, and that does not involve any non QB.
Your making the argument for Cleveland not us. If Cleveland likes 3 QB's they should take Barkley with their 1 and never look back. They can get Barkley at 1 and either Rosen, Darnold, Allen or Mayfield at 4. We have no control at all. We are going to get the second or third graded QB in this draft and have to be happy. They can get Barkley and the 2nd or 3rd graded QB in this draft. Of course if they believe there are 2 franchise QB in the draft and both are more valuable than Barkley they should draft a QB at 1 and 4 and trade one of them for picks this year and a 1st next year. Nothing would shock me in this draft.
Lolz, sure, if we move up for Darnold then whoever is at 3 can take him. I just think the Giants rumors are true, or they're not and the Browns team him with their rookie QB.
