Believe me I wish he wasn't, he would be priority #1 for sure if he broke loose.

it makes no sense for the cowboys to let lawrence walk this year ... unless they hire jon gruden, i dont see it happening

ziggy ansah is 137 years old. a hundred and thirty-seven years old! ... he's also always hurt, pass

barr and folwer are intriguing options but neither is a proven pass rusher

My realistic top 5. I like most of you think the top guys will be locked up.

    1. L. Bell
    2. M. Paradis
    3. T. Williams

    4. G. Robinson - although he is an offensive tackle he has familiarity with Gregg Williams from the rams and then again on the Browns. Once Gregg took over as the interim he made Robinson the starting left tackle. Recieved High praise from both Williams and Joe Thomas. I would like them to sign Robinson to compete with a rookie. Signing Robinson allows us to cut beachum as well. (I didnt go with T Brown because I think the Pat's resign him, move Wynn to RT and cut marcus cannon instead)

    5. R. Quinn - Played for both Gase and Williams. Not a free agent but likely a cut by miami this offseason. Played some of his best ball under Williams

Trolling the Cowboys forums and it look like 60-70 percent of the fans on there think he stays. Who knows at this point, things will clear up soon.

If they let that horse out of the stable I guarantee he'll be a Jet.

Any chance the price for Bell is more like 10 mil per instead of 15? At that price much more palatable.

Considering he sat out a whole season so he can get paid a lot? No shot, 15 mil minimum

I agree and I think the Jets especially will have to overpay for his services . I’d guess about 17 million which 99% of the time would be an astoundingly ridiculous contract for a 27 yr old RB. The Jets do fall into the 1% category on this occasion. It’s a need plus plenty of cash that HAS to be spent one way or the other .

However this being said I would rather the Jets go after Lawrence ( who I predict hits the market ) maybe an interior OL, and perhaps another defender as their 3 major FA signings. I would then go on and predict the Jets double down and go EDGE if they stay at #3 . If they trade down they may go OL or WR in first round.

I think they can get a really nice RB at the top of the third round.....

I don’t see how Dallas pays everyone due.

I’m fully expecting Lawrence to test the market.

They technically could tag him again this year, Amari needs a deal this year, and next year Dak and Zeke both will. Who knows they may want to go ahead and get them under contract.

    "Baaahhhhhhhhhhahahhahahahahhaha!"

If I was to guess, I'd say it's closer to 17 than it is 14.

That's not how a 3-4 is supposed to work. It amazes me, to this day, as long as we've ran the 3-4, we didn't have the key component of an elite edge player. Pressure is supposed to be generated on the QB from the LB core. Not, D-Line. Hence 3-4.

Quinnen is the real deal bro, he is easily the best DL on that team and it's not even a debate. I've been watching a lot of game film of him this past week. Literally reminds me of Aaron Donald. Hes that dominate and would be perfect for a 4-3 scheme.

I think he is the best player in this draft.

I’ll believe it when I see it with Lawrence, until then I will continue to believe it’s a pipe dream. If he does get to FA though he should certainly be target #1.

Why are people so hot to sign Hunt without having any clue what his suspension will be? We’d have to give him a multi-year deal to make it worthwhile.

i would imagine you could end up with quite a discount signing him pre-suspension and pre-legal fall out

they have to extend Cooper now as well.. Hes got one year left and Dallas has no leverage since they gave up a 1 for him, theyll be paying through the nose for him

Of course you can. But do you really want to call the RB problem solved by signing a guy that probably isn't going to play for the first 10 weeks of the year?

Even with a suspension, I'm under the impression he will sign for a below market deal for his talent.

I mean if he's suspended for a year, that changes things. But if its 2-4 games, I'm not letting that dissuade me.
