My only thought is that Todd McShay is a douche.

I stopped reading when I saw Star Lotulelei's name at #1 pick. McShay is worse than the Roger Vick pick.

Tampa Bay picking another safety? they need corners. Barron and Vacarro would be lethal though.

This guy sucks. #1 pick on Star who just skipped the combines due to possible heart problems? Only an idiot would publish a mock like this. Plus everyone who mocks Mingo to the Jets gets on my bad side. This guys is a major tool.

The problem with Mingo is he wasn't great in college. I know that people see the potential there but he had that potential at LSU also and he couldn't ignite it against college players. What exactly makes anybody think they can suddenly turn it on once he hits the pros?

Professional coaching is important but the ghost in the machine is a huge factor also and this guy's ghost just isn't that impressive.

To be fair to turd mcshart, he had star number one to the chiefs before the combine, and the only two options are to put him where you think he should go if he can play or leave him out completely if he can't play.

The chiefs acquired a qb via trade, retained their LT and number one WR, have two solid starting corners and edge rushers. Their DL is awful, and scouts.inc have had star as their number one player for a while, so his choices are top player at biggest need, guard or RT.

I still think mcshart is an overpaid parrot robot, but I can't knock him for the star pick.

Jones at 17, Warmack at 18, Werner at 25... I don't think any of those guys will fall anywhere near that far. But if the draft is looking like it's gonna shake out like that, trade back (even for below market value on our pick) and get one of those guys a little later.

Star Lotuleilei might be the most talented guy in the draft, but I don't think Chiefs are going to pick a 6'2" 3-4 DE with a possible medical condition.

Todd McShay, on the other hand, might be the worst so called draft expert in media. How hard can it be for ESPN to find a replacement?

McShay does exactly what ESPN wants. He's the skip bayless of the draft crew to Kipers Steven A Smith. It's not about knowledge or research. It's about forming an opposing view, no matter how bad, yelling about it untill you make enough fans or haters who tune in to listen. The success of first take has made ESPN go from serious sports reporting to the Jerry springer model of entertainment.

It also explains why they keep a hack like Cimini has the Jets beat writer. Sure most jet fans hate him and think he's scum, but they still click on the site.

The Contrarian point of view increases ratings. The Ying and Yang of Mike and Mike is just all made up drama...same with Kiper vs McShay. I'm getting tired of these boring shticks.

I rarely watch ESPN, I mostly watch NFLN and they're starting to copy ESPN's format. NFL AM is almost unwatchable...what a bunch of crap.

I'm with you on that. I do not watch much of any ESPN out side of live sports which is a tiny bit of thier programming.

NFLNW is far better, but as you said heading down that road.
