I've heard that he has bad people skills.

He wouldn't last in this town the media here would eat him alive.

Todd Haley and Hugh Jackson are better that any coach we have.

I'm weary of bringing in a guy who has a reputation of not getting along with people.

Didn't Parcells have that exact same rep when he came here?

along with a SuperBowl ring to go along with his resume of turning 2 other franchises around ;)

I'd start focusing in on the 6 year old kid....

Noooo. Dude gets fired AFTER the team drafts its franchise QB. Plus, look at his KC Chiefs resume. No sir, I don't like it.

Yea, cultural change. The only part we’re missing now is the winning part.

No. If Haley isn't good enough for Dorsey I don't want him.

No doubt. Add insult to injury, unlike Dorsey, Mac can't do shit with Todd, because they both report to the same inept NFL owner. So in the aggregate, there isn't enough NFL talent amongst the three to ever succeed. At least Mac brought in some key talent, but none has flourished under Todd. Unless the leadership changes, we will continue to get the same results.

He's the one who drafted Baker. If the HC and OC can't be on the same page for Dorsey's investment, and Baker himself is dissatisfied it's a no brainer. That's why they were fired. They had their chance. I'm not seeing the comparison with the Jets here.

and because of the differing org structure between the teams, the only comparison will be in the relative success or failure of both teams within a given timespan. Dorsey has true GM powers. Macc doesn't. Just the philosophical differences of the Ownership of both teams.

He retained them knowing full well there would be losing ahead. It was about Baker. Doesn't seem to be any problems concerning Sam or how they're handling him so far. Bottom line.

    Totally agree.
Haley is batting a thousand in terms of dysfunction everywhere he goes, and having dysfunction around a young team is exactly why Cleveland fired him.
makes no sense at all for the Jets.

To clarify, my post was in no way an endorsement of Bowles but a statement to the fact that order and structure has been restored here more so in spite of the poor execution at times in the field.
I'd hate for all that to be for nothing by bringing in the wrong HC.
