No. Lewis is harly a solid RB this season. I do agree that you need another RB, but I might even take Norwood over him at this point.

I would probably do it. RBs are more valuable. You have Calvin Johnson to step in and you might be able to pick up another quality WR for your bench.

I was offered a trade this morning in my keeper league.

    I would get:
    Jay Cutler and Thomas Jones

    I would lose:
Jerious Norwood and either Tom Brady or Marc Bulger (my choice which QB I would part with)

I do like the idea of not having Brady on my team any longer. I have been trying to trade him since I inherited him in 2004. I was never able to trade him because I never received a fair offer.

I understand that you want to trade Brady, but this is his first year with real WRs, so he could have a monster year.
And I think that Norwood will get more touches than Thomas Jones. Jones will spell maybe 60-40 with Leon. But Dunn is getting older is already injured, so I think that Norwood has a really good chance to beat him for the Starting Position. And with Vick out, I expect a lot of passes to the TEs and Rbs. So I wouldn't make this trade, if Norwood is your second RB, because he has a lot potential.

Those are good points and I do think Norwood will be a very good player.

    Here is my full roster-

QB Marc Bulger (StL - QB)
    WR Laveranues Coles (NYJ- WR)
WR Jerricho Cotchery (NYJ - WR)
RB Travis Henry (Den - RB)
TE L.J. Smith (Phi - TE)
W/R Larry Johnson (KC - RB)

BN Tom Brady (NE - QB)
BN Ron Dayne (Hou - RB)
BN Jeff Garcia (TB - QB)
BN Greg Jennings (GB - WR)
BN Jerious Norwood (Atl - RB)
BN Michael Turner (SD - RB)
BN Robert Meachem (NO - WR)
BN Anthony Gonzalez (Ind - WR)
BN Kenny Irons (Cin - RB)

    K --empty--

    DEF --empty--

D Kerry Rhodes (NYJ - DB)
D Bart Scott (Bal - DL)
D DeMarcus Ware (Dal - DL)
D Will Witherspoon (StL - DL)
BN Michael Boley (Atl - DL)

With Bulger and Brady, you obviously have a QB to spare. But that trade is not fair for you. Norwood and Thomas Jones are basically equal and Brady is way better than Cutler.

Try countering with Brady for Thomas Jones straight up. Or throw in Michael Turner instead of Norwood.

i?d try to get another WR instead of another RB. You obviosly start 1 RB so you?re alright with Henry and Norwood, but having 2 WRs of the same team is a bit of a Problem.

I?d try to trade Brady/Bulger+Coth/Coles for a Stud WR.

With Bulgers new deal already done, Brady might be the better QB to keep.

That is good. I'll try that. The guy who proposed this deal was the guy who defeated me in the 2005 league title game. Then, after Week 1 in 2006, I traded Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander to him for Larry Johnson and Marc Bulger. I went on to win the league title and he missed the playoffs.

He may be getting Bulger back.

UPDATE- I turned it down. He only has two good WRs and I don't think he would trade them. He only has Colston, Holt, Galloway, and Glenn.

I usually start two RBs every week. I usually play a RB in the WR/RB flex spot.

Barring injury, Henry will be one of my Week 1 starters. The other RB I use would be Norwood or Johnson.

Well, Henry is injured. For how long we don't know yet. My other top back is holding out.

I was sent the following proposal.

I would give up Larry Johnson.
I would receive Clinton Portis and DeAngelo Williams.

That trade isn't necessary but I think you have a slight edge in it so I'd say go for it.

Are you the one with Randy? Cuz, if so, do not do this trade. Ronnie Brown is trash and Moss could have a huge year.

i konw, my trade partner has Jacobs, and now wants another RB to plug the hole and i think i get good value out of that trade.

Imo McNabb is an upgrade over Rivers.

It?s a PPR so i want to start berrian in the flex from time to time, when he has a good matchup. evans, v. jackson and b. edwards, all struggled in the first week and i?m not sure, what to expect from curry, so i like the idea of adding depth to my wr corps!

And i think Berrian could be better trade bait in a PPR league, when the season moves on, than the injury prone brown.
