Don't confuse your trolls, #1JF has nothing to do with Philly. #1 is a retired Air Force NCO and he hates black people.
You wish you were the wisps of funny dandruff drifting from Dierking's man muff. Quantity will never be quality.
I'll chime in: *2nd year of new CS/system = improvement *beefed up RB corps, WR depth, TE situation = improvement *ST overhaul = improvement *beefed up LB corps = improvement *Fitz under center + schedule = break even *Geno under center + schedule = a bit lower floor or a bit higher ceiling = break even With our D, the schedule doesn't scare the bejesus out of me. In conclusion, we're a WC contender.
This thread has meaning now Fitzy back lets just make the Playoffs via Div or WC and take it from there guys
Someone should make a "Jets are going to be 8-8 this year" thread for us rational, but skeptical fans.
The 5-11 thread is SARDONIC thread that was started as response to doom & gloom about Fitz and Mo not being signed at the time. It's not a surprise the you didn't read beyond the headline and that the meaning went completely over your head.
The jets had the easiest schedule in the NFL last year. They had only 1 win against an opponent with a winning record, and that win took overtime to get. Think about that for a minute. I don't think the jets get near 11-5 this year.
That's a lie. The Jets beat the 9-7 Redskins as well as the Patriots. The Bills had just as easy a schedule as the Jets and went 8-8. What does that say about your team?
I would worry more about the Bills, I see 7 wins at best. Last year was the chance for the Bills to make any noise and Rex blew it. I guess Reggie Bush will save the season for you guys.
Without head to head Matchups, the Bills went (6-8) and the Jets went (10-4). What does that mean? Not much.
...if that's the case it should have lasted about a week and then died a natural death. The fact that people have kept it alive so long speaks to the fact that many fans want that pessimistic loser headline at the top of the Jets board. smh. ... btw do you realize that this thread was started by King Roach as a place for optimistic fans and a counterbalance to the 5-11 thread? Go back and read it if you forgot. ... ... ... sheesh, somebody needs a hug! lol
Win vs. Bengals (without Burfict) Win at Bills (Early trap game for the Bills with Cardinals, Patriots following) Loss in KC (they don't have Houston, but they'll be good and that's a tough place to play) Win vs. Seahawks (not a good away team, no Lynch) Win at Steelers (we have a D to stop them, they have a terrible D) Loss at Cardinals Win vs. Ravens Win at Browns Win at Dolphins Win vs. Rams Loss vs. Patriots Win vs. Colts Loss at 49ers (We always lose the cross-country game we have no business losing) Win vs. Dolphins Win at Patriots Win vs. Bills I'm having trouble seeing a 5th loss. Maybe the Patriots if they sweep us. Maybe the Ravens if Flacco throws for 300+ yards. Maybe the Seahawks if Russel runs wild. 12-4, this is a schedule that we will look back at and realize it wasn't as strong as first perceived. We'll be in the playoffs and other fans will mock how easy we had it, and that is the only reason we're in the dance.
