Super super super frustrating year to be 2-11. We are so awful and deserve the #1 pick, but our division is too good (strength of schedule tiebreaker) v. the other bad teams. Only saving grace is Jax plays the Titans, and we play the Titans. We lose out I think we are no worse than #3 pick, and probably #2 pick. Bucs still have division games against awful NFC South and should win one.

we dont need the number 1 pick, raiders liek carr. we need to be ahead (or behind in win counts) the bucs and the titans. we control the titans fate, lets just hope the bucs can win a game somewhere. when your team is this bad, offense will win you more games than defense

We were not going to gain ground this week anyway.

For us to get the 2nd overall pick:
    *We need to lose out
*Jags have to beat the Titans
    * Bucs have to beat a team (Panthers, Packers or Saints).

I think the 3rd option is the least likely, honestly.

We all know we will end up with the 5th pick and nothing to show for it

this is what we call the luck of the jets.....

really surprised we didn't win one of these useless games.....but still think we have a victory or two in these scrubs....

we'll be stuck drafting another lineman in round 1.

Except for a really good player, though likely not a Qb.

Any NFC South game regardless of matchup is 50/50, all of those are bottom 10 teams. Bucs have 2 division games and will win 1 most likely

But how could you be certain a new Raiders GM will come in and look at a 2nd round pick that was a bottom 5 QB in 2014 and say "I want this guy over Marcus Mariota." If you were that new GM, would you make that choice? I wouldn't.

Raiders will look for a king's ransom, who knows if someone matches what they'll want.

Their Run D is pathetic but they might get up for Chris Johnson. It will be vs Ivory where they won't have an answer.

The Titans can actually use Leonard Williams. They really need someone like him over a QB.

Having Winston along with Mariota will reduce the cost of 1st pick imo. We can offer Oakland 2 second and pick Mariota. If not, we can offer 2 seconds to the second team and pick Winston. Let's hope we lose to the Titans. Yes I am a fake fan.

No way Raiders win another game, but I don't think they are going to draft a QB. The #1 pick could get them a boat load
1 &2 this year? More picks for 2016?

If we really think Mariota is the answer (and I am not convinced he is) we have to be in a position to make the best deal for him.
Bucs or Titans will probably be looking to draft a QB. Jags not so much.
We "control our own destiny" against the Titans, but if we play the way we did today, a loss is no guarantee.
Let's say we pick 3rd, can we out bid the Bucs? I'm not so worried about the teams that finish below us, because our pick (presumably 3rd overall), is more valuable than the Eagles, say, or the other teams who might be interested in him
