    He's one of my favorites as well.

    Played the game with a great big chip on his shoulder...which got him in a bit of trouble at times.

    Great player...as well as a quality individual off the field.

    Couldn't agree more.
    With his type of play and trash-talk you would think he would be some knucklehead with a slew of off the field issues, which couldn't be further from the truth.

    The guy has always been great with the fans and community. I remember after a Panthers home game he was one of the few higher profile guys that stopped to sign autographs after the game. He spent more time than any other person there.

    Yeah...you'd think he'd be more like Allen Iverson if all you saw was his on field persona.

    I remember him saying that once he the left facility he could switch it off like a light.

    Had the pleasure to meet and work with him a few times. He's a pro.
