I thought it was to have a little overall experience in the world, drugs or not. Ever been to a restaurant? A sports bar? A neighborhood gin mill?
Hookers and blow helps too. If being wasted in a sports bar was a prerequisite for being a mod I would be a good one...actually not
How about a relationship, however slight, with the world around you? An automaton can do the job if no human input is involved.
But you've already admitted your perspective is extremely limited. And don't overuse the word "think" if you're not going to actually exercise the principle.
Just to make sure I follow this whole conversation correctly.... You learned that a mod didn't try drugs, and now questioning his effectiveness as a mod because he doesn't have diverse enough life experience. Is this about right?
Correct. The principle is exercised with all of my posts. With yours, obviously not. Hence, an automaton would make for a better poster. My perspective is not limited unless you view it from a very narrow-minded scope, as it appears you have done.
Why don't you go ahead and explain it to us then, because popular opinion is that's exactly what happened
Ok... so what did you mean then? I honestly thought that you were pulling a joke on Yisman until it became obvious that you're serious. My question was not to mock you, I thought I missed something and wanted to check. So if I'm wrong, what did you mean?
My first post here was post #34; it included the post to which I replied. Neither that post nor mine mentioned drugs. For you, or Yisman or anyone else to infer my posting had anything to do with drug use flies in the face of reality. Where is it coming from?
Well.... He was asking about people buying drugs in clubs: "I have a question about people buying water in the club" To which you replied with: "How are you qualified to be a moderator if your life experience is so limited?" If by "your life experience" you meant something other than buying drugs, you sure made it difficult to understand.
