This game should be fun Saturday. Not sure how I can watch it though, as I will be out of town. Hopefully I figure it out and can watch from my hotel. Geno Smith, Brandon Marshall, Snacks, all taking on their former team. McCown, Hackenberg, Petty, getting action. Both teams have had a tough time scoring points this Pre-Season and have overall looked bad offensively. The Giants have much less of an excuse as they have weapons. Should be as entertaining as Pre-Season football can be. You guys excited?
The Gint O will wake up vs the Jets. I don't think there's a shot in hell of us beating them, and maybe not even holding them close. I do expect Petty to throw a TD and an interception. What looked like a good d was the rookies playing over their heads. Not sure that it will happen again.
This is as close to the SB that this team as presently constituted, will ever be in what's left of my lifetime.
I was just reading Beckham probably won't play now and Marshall might not with an injured shoulder. That would make it less fun. I think the Giants have a good defense. Would be nice to see Hackenberg and Petty get a chance vs the #1's. Won't happen though. I like your optimism!
That's ridiculous to say. The Giants off. line is almost as bad as ours and the running game is worse. Neither team might not score a TD but the giants are so over rated and we are under rated. We might lose but to say we don't have a shot in hell is silly and so jet fan like. Don't watch if you feel this way in a stupid pre season game.
Yeah, shouldn't talk that way about any Pre-Season game anyway. It is not about W's and L's. The 1st team Jets could lead the Giants 21-7 then lose the game because of Back-ups 24-21. Just want to see how the Jets stand against the Giants starters. Won't be able to fully tell now though if Beckham and Marshall are out.
I'm pretty pissed that OBJ and Marshall won't be playing. I expect our defense to be top 10 this season and this would have been a great barometer to judge where they are. At least we'll get to see how our OL will hold up against a good front, and if our passing game can do anything against a very good secondary.
I wouldn't say that too loudly. You'll start to sound like the guys still clinging to the back to back AFCCG losses.
After what happened last week I'd be surprised to see Giants starters for play past the first quarter.
Giants are a classic boom and bust edition this year. A few injuries here and there and they are a 6 win team. No injuries and a few breaks they can win 12.
I think they are pretty solid. Legit Top 5 Defense, Top 12 QB, and great weapons including the best WR in the NFL. I see them winning the NFC
Perhaps a little nuance is called for in this case. If we lower the bar to making the playoffs, our history isn't nearly as bad.
Marshall doesn't want to face Richardson. Richardson wins via doing nothing. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I want Hackenberg to win the starting job, but just looking alright against the Giants #1's Saturday would be good enough for me. Hopefully the O-line protects him better and he gets a chance.
Giants have injuries but that defensivese will abuse our offense, heck they might score 2 defensive TDs
