Scary as hell thinking myself or my younger sister could have been there. This occurred at the main campus library, somewhere myself and my sister often attend for late study sessions. Injured three students, one of which is in critical condition. Shooter was shot dead by TPD after opening fire at officers. Thoughts and prayers go out to those students who were hit. Scary times. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/11/20/report-shooting-at-fsu/
Takes an absolute asshole to pull this against innocent college students. May he burn in hell. Condolences to the lives affected by this selfish asshole's behavior.
Reports are he was an FSU alumni and was attending law school in Texas. He dropped out for an unknown reason and came back to Tally. Police responded on the scene in 3 minutes. Saved lives potentially by being that quick.
ESPNU Campus Connection reporter makes Twitter joke about Florida State shooting, then says account was hacked http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...te-shooting-is-worth-joking-about-on-twitter/
Again, it was hacked and an investigation is active right now. A statement has been released that it was hacked
its hard to believe because when one does something stupid on social media these days they scream HACKED. 5Hours Ago : In the early morning hours, Martin deleted her Twitter account but not before using the ESPN Alabama Campus Connection account to claim that … she was hacked. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/11/esp...rocious-jameis-winston-joke-amid-fsu-shooting
It was hacked man. There are TONS of people coming to her defense right now. Friends, coworkers, etc. I don't care how ignorant you are, if you work for a company like ESPN you don't make this mistake. She's not an idiot. It was hacked.
ok ok. But if it turns out she wasnt she just lost all respect she may have had. It doesnt matter to me anyway but just saying.
What are you talking about. They make all kinds of stupid statements on air it is not beyond the realm of possibility that she, someone who is a student not an ESPN employee, tweeted something off the cuff and later realized it was in bad taste.
Gonna be awkward today. I have a few classes with wrap-ups next week. A lot of police presence throughout the day.
