it's possible for sure, but i didn't see oakland trading out of the pick before them and if NE wanted a QB, jumping arizona would be the way to go since they are linked to jackson and jackson ran the same offense in college that NE uses
In terms of running the offense he is, and if he is the air apparent, he will have a major say in who they draft at QB. If him and BB like a guy then thats all you need in the draft room.
he could also be what Vince Young was early in his career, throwing and running effectively. Remember, VY was really good as a rook, if not for his immaturity he would've been something in this league. I think about it and Lamar does play a little bit like VY but far more mature and very coachable. Lamar is Vick like but not as fast as Vick, but makes you miss like Young and can avoid contact. Less bust proof then Allen and Mayfield IMO.
did I say he was THE decision maker? You said that. I said McDaniels will have a HUGE influence on offense. After all of these years you still don't know what type of players Belichick likes?
You are drawing a lot of conclusions from very simple statements. My argument about the Patriots can be summed up as "Fuck Tom".
IDK man he looks as fast as vick on film hard to judge though because not NFL speed and he didn't run the 40. VY had a good rookie year but never progressed. that was his ceiling. same could happen with lamaar
Belichick likes football players, he will get the guys that love the game and will do their specific jobs on the field. Lamar is in the same mold, to me its a nightmare to even think about that. Hopefully, it ain't "Fuck Lamar" for the next 10 years either. But hopefully we got a QB to contend by then.
People tend to forget how good VY was, and had a QB killer as a coach in Jeff Fisher. Look at what he did to Goff. Case Keenum. BY the way I want to add that Young was not a student of the game and did not put in the work Lamar is far more talented throwing the football, the ball comes out like a laser and can fit it into any window. IDK if you can put a solid comparison on Jackson. His potential is scary. Josh Allen is far more boom or bust.
Every NFL player is a couple of headshots from being done. The only people that talk about Rosen's attitude is pundits. The coaches and players around him never said a word about him having a Richie Rich persona. If you really want to know who does go see Woody and his boss.
