He's young and may not start right away, but he shouldn't need 3 years on the bench unless he's backing up a HOFer like Rodgers was.
I never said he needed 3 years that's why i told the person above to read the post. I was only making a point of how young he is that he COULD sit 3 years and still only be the same age as mayfield if mayfield starts as a rookie. I think only rosen could start right away. Mayfield/darnold would need to sit 1 year. Allen needs to sit 1-2 years
