Yeah he had so many chances playing in Schottenheimer and Sparano's offenses in addition to losing any weapon he had chemistry with.
I got nothin against Sanchez so I wish him the best but I'm not sure his opportunity is so great. They just won the superbowl so expectations are high. They have a difficult early season schedule, coupled with losing some pieces so they might have early season growing pains. If they start out 2-4 and Sanchez has been so/so, maybe not even part of the problem, that fanbase is going to be crying for Paxton Lynch. No matter what though, I would be stunned if he played all 16 games.
By the way - I saw something the other day that completely shocked me. Mark Sanchez actually started more games for the New York Jets than Chad Pennington did. Sanchez 62 starts with the Jets Pennington 61 starts with the Jets (playoffs not included) I understand Pennington was hurt alot and sat to start his career but that seemed unbelievable to me that I had to look it up. But its true
I'm hoping Sanchez can land the job and put up some career numbers with Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. Broncos are one of the teams I hate the least although I'm pissed off we didn't get the chance to play them in the playoffs.. I thought we matched up nicely with them and really could've won the way Peyton was playing. Bills really did ruin a great season last year definitely our best season since 2010 which Sanchez for better or more likely worse was at the helm for two of this franchises better years so I wish him well going forward.
The bus driver had more to do with taking us to two AFCC championship games then Sanchez did. You are right that Sanchez and Geno are both dog shit, but the Sanchez-like dog-shit cost us a 1st round pick, cost way more money, and cost us way more games on the field. Geno was cheap and thankfully we didn't have to watch him mock us on the field of play for that long.
I mean he threw for 539 yards in 3 games with 4 TD/2 INT on 60.3% passing in his rookie season in the playoffs. He far outdid his regular season play in the 09 playoffs. 2010? Even better at 616 yards in 3 games on 60.7% completion percentage with 5 TD/1 INT including a 3 touchdown performance against New England. In Ben Roethlisberger's 2010 playoff run in which they lost to the Packers his stat line was: 622 yards on 59.3% completion with 4 TD/4 INT. - 3 games Colin Kaepernick in his Superbowl run: 798 yards on 61.3% completion with 4 TD/2 INT (granted contributed 200+ yards rushing and 3 rushing TD's. - 3 games Eli Manning in 07 (4 games): 854 yards on 60.5% completion with 6 TD/1 INT Go back and look at how Andy Dalton has played in nearly all his one and done playoff games. I get that the team carried us to the playoffs. But it's revisionist history to say Sanchez wasn't more than formidable in the spot light.
So sad. The one time we actually have a quality quarterback he gets run into the ground via injuries. Imagine a healthy non-injured Penningtion on those 08-10 teams? He was literally the perfect guy to play in a don't turn the ball over offense.
Chad would have been a very interesting QB without injuries, but he just had weak soft tissue. If it wasn't the labrum, it would have been something else.

Please, Just... Stop.... Sanchez is co #1 on the teams depth chart.....co number 1 with Siemien..... The Same Siemian who was drafted in the 7th round at pick #250...a compensatory pick just 6 picks ahead of the last pick of the draft. A player with 1 NFL Snap...a kneel down to end a game.....And Sanchez is neck and neck in the competition...with a scrub....
