When are we going to stop thinking owning guns is more important than the lives of kids getting shot up at school, crowds getting massacred at concerts, or people just trying to be good humans practicing their faith? Because that's what we are saying with how we refuse to continue to force all 50 states to have reasonable gun laws.
There's no confirmation of this anywhere else Texas Church Shooter is in Southerland Springs, TX is Identified as Devon Patrick Kelly
Ok, it's indeed Devin Patrick Kelley. No confirmation on the Muslim part of the previous story Devin Patrick Kelley ID’d as Sutherland Springs Church Killer
How exactly do you plan to get rid of them? There are about the same amount of roaches as guns in the US.
So you are only concerned with violence when it's done by gun? Like there aren't other ways? Like someone bent on harm is going to say I can't get the gun of my choice so I quit.
making a selling weapons is big business, and the American public is a huge consumer . It's never gonna happen . Still, it would t stop the madness inside someone's head.
Well, they could always whip up a batch of tri-nitro-toluene, put it in a pipe with sealed ends. Point being, crazy people that want to kill in mass quantities will find a way with or without guns. Just ask the guy in the Home Depot Truck.
More buyback programs. I mean, we could ban them like other first world nations have and it worked all of those places but guns have been established as more important than lives so that won't happen. Don't let private sellers sell to just anyone. Background checks to keep criminals from getting guns. You're right. That's why we see so many mass stabbings. Remember that time someone stabbed tons of people at a club or hundreds of people in a crowd? Wait...
That actually happens in other gun free 1st world nations. Like I said, people are violent , they will find a way .... object or not .
Yup. And what was that stuff in paddocks car? Not sure how easy it is to get, but a barrel of that stuff getting hit by a single gunshot ......
And we don't see "so many " mass shootings. We see a few high profile ones . What does exist is daily gun violence in inner cities that gets no attention and are not committed with guns that would or would not be affected by any gun laws
What you're forgetting is that this country was born thru the barrel of a gun. It expanded westward thru the barrel of a gun. It maintained its freedom thru the barrel of the gun. Movies for decades glorified gun violence in the form of hero cowboys, G-men, vigilantes, gangsters, you name it. Guns are as American as apple pie, hotdogs and war. They're embedded into the culture and as long as there is a market for guns, there will be guns. Same reason why the war on drugs has been a complete and utter failure. They never reduced the demand so they never reduced the profit. Gun laws are useless for the most part. If you can't go into a store and buy one legally, get a gun illegally. The result will be the same.
