This is apparently the "10" story writer Charles Robinson has been pushing. Doesn't sound too good Al Golden and Tha U.

If the NCAA weren't such asshats college players would be getting some of the money and this bullshit would stop.

Man, I'm trying to stay positive but the NCAA is going to burn the program after this. Shit.

With all due respect, some of these claims far exceed just paying players.

Giving money to players is one thing, but throwing them sex parties, paying for hookers, paying for abortions, paying to take opposing players out, etc... are a little more serious.

Sex parties and hookers is just good recruiting...If I visited a school on a recruiting trip and they threw one of those parties for me, it would certainly make my decision easier upon declaration day.

Paying for abortions is actually noble...we don't need more children born out of wedlock to single mothers.

Sounds like a potential "Death Penalty" ... holy crap. If anybody thought Ohio State was bad this fucking blows that away. Poor Al Golden, I bet he wishes he could reverse history and go back to Philly for another year. I wanted him to succeed but it's gonna be near impossible after the NCAA gets donw with The U.

Hahaha they're saying at some point you will be able to click on each of the 72 players involved and read about what they got out of the deal. This one is a little close to home.

    John Vilma

    http://sports.yahoo.com/investigati...ND5hA7MuB_?slug=ys-jonathan_vilma_allegations

    • $2,250 in bounties. Shapiro said the bounties were: $1,000 for a hit and personal foul penalty by Vilma on Florida State quarterback Chris Rix during Miami’s 28-27 win on Oct. 12, 2002; $250 for a sack in a 38-33 win over Florida on Sept. 6, 2003; and $1,000 for a hit on Rix in a 16-14 win over Florida State on Jan. 1, 2004.

Quite possibly my favorite.... Devin Hester

    • Cash for rims for Hester’s sport utility vehicle.

    • Approximately $3,000 for an engagement ring.

    • Playoff tickets to a Miami Heat versus Detroit Pistons playoff game on June 6, 2005. Shapiro said it was at this game that Hester proposed to his girlfriend with the ring also purchased by the booster.

Yahoo has the list of each player and what they recieved...

    Start with Ray Ray Armstrong...

Apparently Billy Corben has done some research for "The U II".

This kind of stuff just doesnt shock me any more. Its stupid. The one thing that interested me was the Bryce Brown thing cause that dragged on so much. Its stories like these that make it difficult for me to support paying college athletes. You know its one thing to say you need the money to eat, its another thing to say you need the money to pay for jewelry and clubs. Fuck outta here

All I can say after reading the Yahoo article is holy shit. Is the death penalty for the program out of the question? I'm guessing not.

FUCK IT!!! At least they went down Miami style. Pryor and his crew sold jerseys for tats. We had million dollar mansions and yachts, hundred thousand dollar cars, restaurants and clubs, strippers and prostitutes, players getting paid for bounties...CRAZY SHIT!!! I am surprised there was no mention of drugs, if not cocaine at least some weed. What's messed up is that they didn't disclose this to Al Golden during his interview, I believe this dude was talking about this since last year.

All I can say is Go Golden Panthers! TY Hilton for Heismam!

What the fuck is wrong with you? This and a few other things you've missed is what college is all about. You're a Bama fan, right? Your school was just on probation for the first few years of this century, wasn't it? This is nothing different than any other school getting convicted for wrong doing. Auburn got away with rigging slot machines for their players. If Miami were in the SEC it'd be fine.

:crossing fingers ole miss doesnt get popped for something too:
