Gruden is such a joke. Have fun with that for 10 years.

Don’t care if it’s a conditional 7. They traded their only good defensive player for draft assets and then used a draft asset to acquire a bad backup QB? Hahaha.

Welcome back to the bottom of the AFC, Oakland. It’s missed you.

Nick Bosa. Need an impact player off the edge.

On the other hand, what is Buffalo thinking? I thought they were on the right track last year, now this off-season they have made some odd decisions. Now they want to go into the season with a rookie QB who many think should sit for a year or two OR go with a guy who had one of the worst games I have ever seen last year in Nate Peterman? McCarron is not great, but I think I would have started him, instead they traded him.

A buddy of mine at work is a Raiders fan and was in misery all day at all the news coming out today with this, the Mack trade, and the Bryant cut.

Honestly had really me thankful for the off-season we got to see unfold and not having to be the guy screaming to the heavens ‘WTF ARE WE DOING?!?’ this year.

    Holee shit.

This is a bad deal all around.

McCarron must be pissed. Sign a FA deal to be a starting QB and now he’s behind one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL.

They also traded with the Browns for the malcontent Corey Coleman who's 3.5 mil contract was guaranteed. Yet they cut him today. Dude was terrible and for the Bill's troubles, they get to swallow 3.5 million US dollars!

Shortly after Gruden was hired I heard a rumor that the $25 million dollar a year man might not be a fit in his offense.

Who knows this trade could be the first step in moving away from that awful contract. It sure does look like he's getting ready to blow up that team.

He has balls I'll give him that. I wasn't buying the Raiders hype two years ago.

One winning season since 2003 one of the worst run organizations in all of sports. The media acts like he's breaking up the early 2000s Ravens defense by trading away Mack. Ha!

    They've been at the bottom.

And "Khalil Mack" changed absolutely, nothing.

Under Khalil Mack along with his inability to elevate his defense (unlike Revis for NY) the Raiders only went 28-36 with a losing percentage of .437% (under Khalil Mack's watch throughout his 4 year career).

3 losing seasons and a wildcard exit.

Trust me. Oakland will not miss Khalil Mack one bit however, they may just splash and (finally) build a competent defense with two 1st round draft picks plus an extra $23.5 million in available cap per season in order to build their team around.

Yes, Khalil Mack put up some nice individual sack numbers but unlike all the truly great NFL defender's of years past he was unable to elevate his defense to above mediocrity (let alone, greatness).

And for what it's worth 14 other pass rushers (all) had more sack numbers than Khalil Mack last year (2017) and 8 players had more sacks than that of Khalil Mack the year before (2016).

The guy is overrated by many and overvalued by Chicago. The Bears will still lose badly to Green Bay and Minnesota (they'll see).

I do agree that Oakland should not have used any of their picks from the Mack trade (on a backup QB) but rather used their less valued picks during the draft in hopes of finding a future starter.

Lol the hate is strong with this one.

Derailing thread after thread with the same irrelevant bullshit.

I don’t get why it’s allowed but, hey, it’s not my board.

Has Khalil Mack ever been on a team with an outstanding win/loss record? Does anybody know?

I don't know but Khalil Mack grew up in Florida--he's got that Florida speed--that type of Florida speed that you can only get in Florida and he's got that Florida blood running through his veins that you can only get in Florida.

remember that time they traded a conditional pick for another bad QB? lol (just a hack joke, move along)

Lets not forget they traded a 3rd rounder to get a WR they cut before the season

    McCarron is a trash QB.

can't believe we couldn't get the Mack deal done, especially considering the Raiders wanted to improve the backup QB position.
