This is what I have said about Sanchez and you call me a dick rider. You just say stuff to say stuff without backing or proof.

Now here you go Einstein, this is what I said about Tebow and Sanchez, why don't you do a little research before calling people "dickriders " so you don't look like a fool like you did when you said you would believe what Gruden said and then when confronted with what he said about Tebow you ignored it.

    here is another

    and another

    and another

    and another

This proves another point I have made which is that anyone that says anything positive about Tebow, no matter how small or mundane , is automatically labeled a "Tebot" . You know who is doing the labeling? Anti tebow cult members like yourself. You don't realize it but you are so fever gripped with tebow mania (the opposite side of it) you blindly call everyone a Tebot or in this case a dickrider.

If you just point that out, they just say "well, you're not one of them then." Which is kind of circular. Especially when there's supposedly an "avalanche" that's making their lives miserable.

Tebow's haters have the ability to screen out stuff like that. Every single good thing that happens in a game where Tebow's team wins is a fluke of luck.

Pretty much the same as Eli Manning in his first year starting and before you respond with one of your patented responses , my point is that you are judging him as if he were a grizzled veteran when in reality he was a first time starter .

Give hm a chance to improve .

And Tebow lovers say that Tebow won in spite of his defense. It goes both ways back and forth. Some poster in the other thread was saying we can't realize his greatness and tried to use an analogy to MJ and others say what you just reference in your post. To be fair though, that Denver had some luck.

That Broncos team in general got very lucky, and it ran out after the Pitt game.
The Broncos ended the season on a 3 game losing streak and finished 8-8, the same exact ending the Jets had, yet they were hosting a playoff game, I would consider that lucky to play in the Afc West in a down year for the Chargers. In fact in all other 7 divisions, 8-8 gets you sent home to play golf at the end of the regular season. The Chargers/Raiders/Chiefs were also lucky to be in such division so credit the Broncos for taking advantage, but a lot of teams finished 8-8 and didn't get a home playoff game the next week.

Ummm, one small problem. Thing is, coaches and teams know what their kicker's effective range is, you know, what distances he feels comfortable kicking from in the specific stadium and under the current weather conditions.

Knowing this, coaches tell offenses "We need to get to the X yard line" and that is what the team tries to do. Sure, they will try to get even closer if they can, but they don't take risks at that point.

If you go back and watch the game against Chicago, just before the FG try, Tebow had dropped back to pass, didn't see anyone open, then decided to tuck the ball and ran for the sideline and the down marker.

Why ? Because they were already in Prater's effective range, so it wasn't worth the risk to try and gain any additional yardage.

That's rather disingenuous as Tebow only threw passes in 4 of those games, and in 1 of those 4, he only threw a single pass.

    Here's he breakdown:

    1 - 1 vs Kansas City
    8 - 16 vs Oakland
    16 - 29 vs Houston
    16 - 36 vs San Diego

    # of attempts was included so it wasn't disingenuous. Even if it was disingenuous his completion % in '10 was still higher in '11 so there's nothing to argue.

Which FG try? The 59 yarder or the 51? Either way, no kicker's "effective range" is over 50 yards to the point that an offense should/would become content about their position on the field (Unless that kicker's last name is Janikowski. but then again, that's probably the product of a crazy owner, years of losing, and practically no offense).

I said that because all the Tebow nuts say that he is a winner. While Denver kicker made the fg when they needed them most.

there is a pretty huge difference in the importance of completion% vs % fg missed/made. However similarities could be drawn between the two that they are both largely dependant on distance. If a kicker tried 40% of his kicks over 50 yds would you expect him to have the same made % as a kicker who has 90% of his tries from 19-30 yards? Basically what you are saying is that regardless of the distance a kicker had his tries from he shold hit 80%. Sounds stupid when it is about a kicker, but when it is Tebow the rules change

actually the top half of kickers in the league hit 50+ field goals pretty damn consistently, you have to get pretty far down the list to get under 66%

It's whichfan or Shake-N-Bake. Why can't you see you're being trolled by those guys? It's hilarious to watch all the "Oh Noes! Avalanche of Tebow nuts!"

You cherish each overstatement by them as if you're being barraged with that message.

Tebow doesn't deserve all the credit for any win last year. The defense stepped up and flat out delivered in some games. Tebow had some horrible games. Tebow will need to greatly improve to remain in the league.

The above points are obvious. If you're going go on the internet (whether the issue is politics, religion, or football), you have to learn you're going to hear from the "squeakiest nut" at times. But life's too short to get clenched up about -- don't generalize and stereotype everybody.

It's the same as Cowboys Guy using quotes from #1 Jets Fan to encapsulate Jets fan opinions. #1JF has been the biggest tard and most obvious troll on this forum for years and has been banned multiple times for his stupidity. It goes both ways.

But that seems obvious to me -- I skim over the vast majority of #JF's posts, and draw no conclusions about "Jets fans" about him.

Cowboy Fan doesn't even claim to be a Jets fan -- he's no different than the Bills guy, packerfan, or the Patriots fans who post here to get a rise out you. whichfan does even remotely claim to be a Jets fan.

It all seems sort of weird when the counter-balance is supposed actual Jets fans denigrating Tebow (a Jets player) and twisting every fact against him (instead of looking on the bright side). The answer always seems to be "we have to balance out the avalanche of Tebow nuts that have invaded Jets fandom."

But it's a few trolls not even pretending to be Jets fans.

It was disingenuous as it didn't look at look at starts or whether passes were thrown in a game, that skews the results.

Don't think so ? How bout when you look and see that you have both of them listed as having 9 games their first year, even though Eli was the actual starter in 7 games and Tebow only started 3.

Actually, many NFL kickers' "effective range" is up to about 50-54 yards in "normal" situations. Add 5-8 yards to that when playing in Mile High stadium.

Prior to the FG attempt, they did a cut away to Prater warming up before the game and he was drilling them from 70 yards.
