What does everyone here think about having BJ Askew at FB now...maybe we shuld draft matt bernstein from Wisconsin..this guy looks like a bus in the backfield....he went to my highschool and was my babysitter so i am very high on him so i hope maybe he will go to the jets
BJ is a good fit for FB in my opinion. He has been learning for a few years now and should be more than ready to step into the starting lineup...I would be a little dissapointed if we drafted a FB.
agreed...askew has definatly been getting groomed for the spot...sowell will be missed, but what little i saw from askew, he showed some speed and power...i'll be curious to see if he can show the same kinda hands that sowell had, like when he caught 45 and 47 passes in 03 and 04
