Absolutely nothing to gain from risking injury to Hack. McCown is obviously our starter because Bowles is a shit tier coach. Can't continue to risk our back-up. He's got nothing to prove this game. Gotta put someone out there and since the staff doesn't give a crap about Petty, there's no better option.

 

Who's in on the DL now, that A. Judd has gained 55 yards on the ground in the last 3 plays?

 

Such is life.... You could be 3rd string on the Patriots, or you could be 3rd string on the Jets.

That's how I see it. I think Hack needs to learn hence the reps today. When push comes to shove Petty is better than Hack right now and will be given the rock when it counts.

 

That would have been a TD with a decent starting WR.

 

This team is playing so much harder, just more effort all around.

 

I'd like to see Hack and Petty split time in the next 3 pre-season games in a true competition. We know already know what Mccown brings (or doesn't bring) to the table. Let Hack or Petty actually win the job on the field.
