Todd Gurley just fumbled forward and the ball was placed at the spot where the ball went out of bounds... that said, it was my understanding that if you fumble forward on 4th down the ball is placed at the spot of the fumble... I am shocked more then anyone that we won this game, but I feel like announcers like Fouts are just shills for the league but enough is enough....

I am not shocked we won.

Gurley's fumble was recovered by his Center...in bounds

I agree that is where they usually place the ball but of ciurse we are playing Krafts' refs... oophs I mean the NFLs.

Didn't see it... going by the radio feed. What is the actual rule? Been a Jets fan for 36 years and I am shocked. That's a game we generally lose.

I think the lineman recovered the fumble in bounds, gained possession before going out of bounds. That's their ball at the spot of the recovery.

If you fumble forward out of bounds, the ball comes back to the spot of the fumble.

c'mon, it's so much more fun to be a conspiracist. clearly Kraft is giving orders in his sleeve radio to the Lobot ref.

He also got that flag picked up and I think there are standing orders that Brady cannot be called for intentional grounding.

Yeah let's get real, if you could advance the ball that way everyone would start flipping fumbles toward the sideline.

Oh my gosh, I think he did it 2 times, one was so obvious I was yelling for the flag.

I guess two yards behind the LOS is close enough to count.

You cannot advance on a fumble - you must recover it.
