I may be in the minority, but I really think the Jets should draft the Diet Coke machine. That diet pepsi machine owned us last year.

Actually the Diet Dr. Pepper machine runs a sub 4.3 40, but he's pretty and you know how all the scouts are a little trigger happy with the good looking ones at the combine.

martin.. u are smart. we need more people like you on this forum. I totally agree with you and I've been preaching these exact words since I came here and still they are a majority of idiots who do not agree with me. I feel talents like vern davis, d'brick, A.J Hawk, mario williams are the future. Who the hell is Jay Cutler. The jets need to hurry up and draft one of those talents and get this season started so we can shut these cutler fans up. Cutler sucks. Wow he can throw far okay come on Kerry Collins can do that. I mean If I was going for a QB, I will pick Vince Young in a heart beat but I feel we can survive with the qb we have all we have to do is start rebuilding our o line and get our defense stronger. Because Defense win games. If I were to pick Offense these are the players I would draft D'brick, Mangold, Vernon Davis, Maurice Drew. If I was going defense I would go hawk, Ngata, lawson. We might get detriots 9th pick so I see us drafting Hawk at 4 and 9th Ngata second round Lawson If we are going defense and If we are going offense we take D'brick at 4 and Vernon Davis at 9 and mangold/gilles in the second round

I think we need to draft a RB or a QB with a #1. Otherwise you are writing off 06 and 07. Pennington and Martin will get you as far the Chiefs game last year.

I like Cutler, but not with the #4 pick. To draft a player that high, you need to take the most can't miss player on the board because that player will affect your cap situation. I am 60/40 between Mario Williams and D'Brick with that pick.I think Cutler can be just as good or better than Young or Leinert, the problem is, neither of them is a slam dunk either. The Jets have many needs besides QB, especially if they trade Abe.

Same here, QB is not important in round 1, grab a RB. But in my opinion, the worst thing we could do is take D'Brick, when our o-line is fine at the LT position.

this is exactly what I mean. Why can't you guys just stop with a qb and rb. they are many backs in the draft, with a good oline backs can find holes and run look at the chiefs, Blaylock ran over 200 yards when he started that one game in KC. I dont want to hear nothing more about rb cause we could pick up maurice drew in the 3rd or 4th. as for qb why the hell do we draft that when they are so many of them that we can snab like croyle, jacobs. I say we are good with qb's and If chad were to get injured next year we might have a losing season again and be top ten in the draft and plus the teams that most likely would be in the top 5 next year is houston, tenn., cleveLAND, GREENBAY, AND THEY ALL HAVE QBS WHICH MEANS WE CAN GET BRADY QUINN

And how do you think we would go about doing that? Trading up a ton of spots to get him next year and wasting a bunch of picks? Not worth it.

FIRST OF ALL look! the teams I lists are not going to draft him and they are most likely to go that high in the draft. If Pennington gets injured we probably might be in the top 5 and we can snab him.
