Just one day after the New York Jets sent him packing, Bryce Petty has landed back in the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins claimed the fourth-year quarterback off waivers on Friday, per the league transaction wire. Petty joins a quarterback room already occupied by starter Ryan Tannehill, free-agent acquisition Brock Osweiler and incumbent third-stringer David Fales. The 26-year-old Petty will likely compete with Fales for backup-to-the-backup duties. Good luck....hope we face him 2 times this year
Well that pretty much guarantees that Petty comes in as a backup against the Jets one day and lights them up.
CBG, I know you're a good dude, but I just read this sentence like 20 times and I still don't have any idea wtf it means.
Besides the semicolon that STATJEFF so grammatically correct pointed out, and that I am a good dude , I was responding to FJF s post about the last QB that left us and went to the Dolphins to have success ,,,, now rewind to Dec 28th 2008 I was at that game and watched The Chad Pennington led fish beat the Brett Favre led Jets ,,,,,the fish went to the playoffs but I stray hope this clears up any confusion .
Whoa, no shit? Really?! Did the doc say something cheeky? You know, to lighten the mood. Or were you too gassed to notice? I’ll show myself out.....
