Very fair assessment and if Anderson makes that catch and Petty does not miss the throw who knows what happens. The good he seems to be making the proper reads. The cons you cannot miss those throws that can change the complexion of a game or earn you a shot in the NFL. Lets be honest this is Petty's last chance, he has this game to prove what he can do and if can be a starter in the NFL. If Petty sucks Sunday you go to Hack next week. I like Petty but it might be blind faith, I want to see him perform on Sunday.

Yeah, a lot of this will depend on Morton's game planning. Will they tailor it to Petty's strengths and put him in the best position to succeed or not. It will also depend on how much faith and confidence they have in Petty. Will it be enough to prevent Blowes and Morton from quitting 10mins into the 1st qtr?? I really don't have an answer since this quitting thing is a completely new element in Jet football .
