Penny restructuring = No QB in the Draft

    I would take any top six QB in the draft over Chad.

    My ranking is:

    Jay - He will pack people in the seats.
    Matt - You know what you're getting.
    Vince - Could perform well with a patched up OL.

    then:
    Whitehurst - Best Value pick (The guy I would want with the #68 pick.)
    Croyle - Solid QB
    Jacobs (Way to raw and bad mechanics but still better and more exciting than Chad.)

    How can you say that? Chad staying just means they want him to be healthy and see. If he's not they may cut him after this season. They're giving him another year to develop a rookie QB... I think.

    yes, but if you have a vet who is injury prone, that you are giving a chance to prove himself, do you go out and use a high draft pick to get a QB, or do you just pick up a FA, who will come at a reasonable price ala Ramsey? We all know Ramsey is not going to get traded for a second rounder, so they will end up releasing him, and with the QBs on the market, he will come cheap.

    I think you get a FA rather than take a QB at 4 if you are really giving Pennington a chance
