    Like the title says - huge news out of GB. Jordy Nelson cut which is shocking. He's 32

    He's 33 next year, making a ton of money and he declined badly last season. The Packers could hang around for another year with him but history says when your production drops badly after 30 it is a sign of things to come.

    Well to be fair, how much of it was decline, and how much of it was having Brett Hundley throwing to him for over half the season? This was about the $$, maybe they'll bring him back on a friendlier deal.

    Awful move. My friends and I have been waiting for Cobb to get cut for them to save cap, and instead they cut their best wr. He is not washed up. Very upset over this move..

    Guess I was wrong...Jordy gets 2/15 from the Raiders. A new weapon for Derek Carr.

    As long as he didn't get signed by the Pats - that's good news.
