The Jets OWN Brees. I am pretty sure Pennington is 3-0 vs. him and the only loss was last year when we were a joke.
Whatever dude... Ask Peyton how well he does against the Pats.... Do not tell me certain QBs do not struggle vs. certain teams... No matter what you think Brees struggles against the Jets...
Maybe but we definetly owned the chargers where brees is comming from so this deal doesn`t worry me at all.
The Chargers struggled against the Jets, if he signs with the Fins (and I say if), its a different team, different offense, different personal.
That's the dumbest logic I've heard today. While we're at it, we might as well grab Edgerrin James, Jon Kitna, Isaac Bruce, and whoever else that's a Free Agent. Although things may be different in '07, there is still a thing called a "salary cap", and believe it or not, it's impractical to go sign every player in sight just so our "enemy" can't have them. Sure, that would hamper Miami's plans, but it would also set us back as well, in terms of cap hell. Who wins in that situation? The Patsies and the Bills. To quote yourself:
Like we haven't faced Brees before, not only that, but over the past few years, we owned the Phins too...
Ahhh right.. Those same Fins who have dominated us over the past few years..Or is is the same Fins who could only split with us in a horrible season?
That would be a great signing for the Fins. Drew Brees is a great QB, but hopefully he doesn't choose to be our pain in the ass twice a year by moving to Miami. I hear Detroit isn't shabby, Drew....
Although I doubt Brees will be the same player after removing the outstanding players he had around him in SD, he's still better than whoever the Fins currently have at QB. Brown, McMichael, and Chambers may not be Tomlinson, Gates, and McCardell, but they are still talented in their own right. Of course, the Fins O-Line will still prevent the offense from becoming as productive as they could be, so we have that going for us, at least.
Uhh, actually, you dont have that going for you. The Dolphins O-line gave up the 4th least sacks in the NFL last season. And that's with players already on the roster from the year before. What do you think they are going to do with new players?
I'd much rather they get Brees than McCown, Ramsey, or any of the younger guys, and certainly Id rather they have Brees than to make a move in this draft to get any of the big 3.
The recovery depends upon many factors, such as where the tear was located, how severe it was and how good the surgical repair was. It is believed that it takes at least four to six weeks for the labrum to re-attach itself to the rim of the bone, and probably another four to six weeks to get strong. Once the labrum has healed to the rim of the bone, it should see stress very gradually so that it can gather strength. It is important not to re-injure it while it is healing. How much motion and strengthening of the arm is allowed after surgery also depends upon many factors, and it is up to the surgeon to let you know your limitations and how fast to progress. Because of the variability in the injury and the type of repair done, it is difficult to predict how soon someone can to return to activities and to sports after the repair.
really? Like you owned us this season? We kicked your asses. Your team is in the basement again. Ours is rising to the top. Brees' injury is not as major as you think. Our defense is getting better, not worse. Our offensive line is improving, especially after we sign the Patsies starting LT this weekend. welcome to 1-7 within our division:lol:
