I love the Winslow signing. Another goddamn, fucking douchebag who runs his fucking mouth constantly, produces little to nothing on the field, and is unwanted by the rest of the league. Just what the doctor ordered for this pile of shit team don't you think?

A bit rash don't you think? First off this team is far from a pile of shit as you called it. In fact in my opinion it has a pretty talented core of players particularly on the defensive side of the ball and probably a few holes offensively from becoming a true contender. As for Winslow, it was absolutely a risk free move with some significant potential if he re gains some of the form of his prime. Excellent stop gap move if it works.

As Jet fans we better come to grips that this team will complete his staffing needs over the next two drafts or so, with most of the contributions coming from the draft, and not from overly payed free agents.

Isn't time to at least give this team a chance to show what they have in training camp and pre season before we crap all over them. I for one am optimistic. Young talent to me means over achievers and eager to make a name for themselves on the field. That is a welcome change for these Jets. Winslow is a stop gap that has one more chance to shine and he better take it.

Considering Aaron Hernandez's last 2 weeks, Kellen Winslow is pretty far down the depth chart of AFC TE's with Issues.

 

Winslow can still play ball, he had 70+ rec in 2011. Problem is his knee will explode after his first rec in 2013, if he even lasts that long. Not holding my breath.

 

Wasn't sure where this fit best, but a pretty good picture of the rookies.

 

Wow Winters has some very big shoulders. He looks quite a bit larger than the other 2 OL.
