With the way Jameis has played this year, he's just as likely to throw the ball to the opposing team.

21 TD, 17 INT, yeah that just screams top 5 pick to me.

Wouldn't surprise me. Winston goes to FSU, and the Bucs would get a lot of tickets sold. Plus, you can make the argument that he's a better pro prospect than Mariota (which I agree with).

How things change over a week. Tennessee rumored to be interested in Cutler.

Winston and Cooper could be there when we pick.

    1 - Tenn (2-13, .484 SOS)
    2 - TB (2-13, .493 SOS)
    3 - JAX (3-12, .509 SOS)
    4 - NYJ (3-12, .554 SOS)
    5 - OAK (3-12, .565 SOS)
    6 - WASH (4-11, .474 SOS)

If the Jets lose next week we'll be picking no lower than 4th, 3rd if Jacksonville wins their game. If we win and the Redskins lose, we pick 6th.

Where do You have Mariota going?

TB will take him over Winston.

You guys are making it like we are going to see Mariota and Winston going 1 and 2 like Luck and RG3.

I say at least one of them will be there when we pick at 4. Let's see.

I think your right. Especially with the rumors of Tenn's interest in Cutler.

Mariota will end up in TEN, fall to us or someone will trade up. I just got a gut feeling Winston will be a buccaneer.

Mariota may not be Lovie's type of Quarterback, and if Lovie isn't on board with MM, I doubt Tampa's GM will draft him. I just can't imagine , Lovie Smith installing a hybrid spread offense to cater to Mariota's skills. A guy like Mariota, in my opinion, needs to be used like Russell Wilson, early in his career, Lovie looks like a head coach, who will not adjust his philosophies for a draft pick.

Honestly, I won't be at all surprised if Mariota and Winston fall to our pick, be it 4th or 6th or whatever. I also wouldn't be surprised if we pass on both of them.

If I have my choice here, I'm taking mariota if available. That's mostly because I think the one thing that is proven time and time again, it's that to succeed at QB in the NFL, you've got to be a student of the game, and all indications are that MM is, even though his current offense isn't geared towards the NFL. Jameis I know less about on this front. If you don't want either or they're both gone and Amari is staring you in the face, please do the right thing. Market the hell out of that pick to someone that wants Amari. Drafting a WR at that point I think is a bad idea, especially if someone will give a king's ransom for him (all conjecture).

Drafting a WR on the 4 is a calculated move for a rebuilding team. It works out now and then when the team finds the QB quickly after that. It's a very low immediate impact move most of the time. The team does not improve much in the standings based on it unless they already have the QB in house.

The Bills and Sammy Watkins are the exception to the rule not the norm, and they've only improved by a couple of games at this point and not clearly from tier 3 to tier 2.

Also trading up for Watkins was a huge mistake, IMO. The WR class last year was terrific, and if the Bills had stayed put they could have gotten OBJ or Kelvin or any number of WR successes. By trading up they forfeited a valuable first rounder that would have improved them even more this year.

Going 8-8 is an improvement for them, but trading up was not the right move.

Sarcastic replies only work when you know what you're talking about. Taking the actual Julio Jones has really vaulted the Falcons to contenders, though, so great point as usual.

To be fair, it wasn't that they took Julio Jones. It was that they traded up for Julio Jones and gave up the following: their 1st- (27th overall), second- (59th) and fourth-round (124th) picks in 2011 and their first- and fourth-round picks in 2012.

That's one of the biggest reasons the Falcons have such bad depth.

Yep. Bills fans have to be shaking there heads as well trading an additional 1st when they could've got Odell Beckham or Mike Evans (I think, don't remember draft order).
