Don't they have anybody in South Bend who can read the freakin' chart? Touchdown puts the score at 40-29, an eleven point lead, which can be tied with a TD, 2 point conversion and a field goal. A PAT kick would give them a twelve point lead and require two touchdowns to overcome the ND lead. The two point conversion would result in a thirteen point lead which also requires two TDs but adds no value. Coaches go for two, fail, Northwestern gets TD, two point conversion, field goal, forces overtime, wins. Anybody heard an explanation from Kelly?
