The only form of soccer that will ever be cemented here forever is hovering parents of grade school kids who think keeping score is hurtful and damaging. Beyond scoreless kids' soccer, no-one really gives a shit. There's a limited interest in soccer in the U.S., but it's very concentrated, heated, tons of talent, but it's still a niche sport to a huge extent. It will never latch and catch on here like the rest of the globe. Not an opinion, just a fact. I do like when people stampede each other to death over a soccer game, though. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. There has probably been more direct or indirect soccer murders than any other sport combined. Wasn't some ref beheaded or something? I'm not making it up. GOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLL!!!! I do appreciate it as a sport, though. Big time. A close friend of mine went to college on a full scholarship for soccer. He's a school teacher of 7th graders with raging hormones now, but refused to coach because when you get beyond the scoreless infantilizing faggot years, you have to deal with trophy parents who brutalize their kids that just want to punch you in the face. "Not worth it." He doesn't even go to games, lol.
