Well ANY PSL owner should have gone for a brain scan B4 committing to that type of purchase. Heck even a penny stock purchase would have been better for them since at least there they had had a chance of ROI

This past year didn't really count. He had to evaluate the team.

Right. He probably has never been to a game before this year.

We should have had a tanking mandate this year

No... we had to win 5 games just to make it really hard to draft a FQB. Could have started Petty or Hack and had instant cover from any "tanking" accusations but nooooo, that's not how the Jets do things..

I wouldn't be so quick to praise Woody for spending money. The league salary cap mandates that every team spend a certain amount on a rolling basis.

Chris Johnson the running back would probably be a better owner

We've had much more successful regimes than this one get run out of town after about five years.

Bradway-Herm made the playoffs three out of five years. Tannenbaum-Mangini made the playoffs in 2006 then Tannenbaum-Rex made it to back-to-back AFC Championship games in 2009-2010.

But we're finally doing it the right way now. Why? Who the eff knows because the media has it's head up MacCagnan's fat @ss? The football guy.

The point is he's willing to concentrate high $ contracts on players so he's willing to spend money for top players. Too many teams spread the wealth without committing to key players. Woody isn't one of those owners, he's willing to make that commitment.
