Yes, it's a true rebuild. I've been around as long as you and the closest they ever came was the late 70s. But this one has a different feel.
By no means do they deserve blind faith. But I have to believe that Maccagnan knows more and has more up his sleeve than even the most informed fan can imagine. Not for this year. I think 2017 is going to be exactly what we all expect. But for 2018 and beyond.

Interesting point. Jets always seem to be dealing from a position of weakness when it comes to their own players.

Tanny as a good negotiator? This is the guy who doubled down and opened the vault for Mark Sanchez and Wayne Hunter when neither would've sniffed anything like that on street. Bidding against yourself is poor negotiating.

It's all about QB and we don't have one. The only non-franchise QB I can ever remember winning a SB was Brad johnson, correct me if I'm wrong. We on the other have have a complete incompetent running the show who keeps think he can win by drafting defense year after year after year. We see how that is working out.

I'm all for the rebuild we will have some nice assets in next years draft and 80 mil in cap space now if we miss on those picks than its all moot.

Free agents will follow the money they always do look at Miami Jax Washington etc crappy teams can sign whoever they want now that doesn't translate into wins but free agents will ALWAYS follow the money.

I agree with the OP..half the people around here hate Tannenbaum but we were always competitive when he was calling the shots. We haven't been since he left.

We were one win away from the playoffs and an 11-5 season. 10-6 is competitive. We were good enough to even win a playoff game.

Always? 3 playoff appearances in 7 years is not always. The reason Tanny is not here is the same reason idzic is not here and the same reason mac will not be here. Bad draft picks.
