Whether it's the red-headed stepchild, the smug prick, the midget, the big-armed galoot or the gazelle.....this draft can't come soon enough.

Come Friday, support your local draft pick.

If you had actual attributions for any of these they would be meaningful.

No he's not. He's literally the skip bayless of the NFL.

    This dude is not reliable.

My nightmare scenario goes like this.

    1. Browns Darnold
    2. Bills trade up for Allen
    3. We select Mayfield
    4. Rosen falls to the Dolphins
    5. Patriots select Jackson or Rudolph

All those players become great and Mayfield is the next ButtFumble (Sanchez). That is my nightmare scenario and believe it can happen because I have been a Jet fan for too long.

Meanwhile on the NFLNs draft show last night Mayock said he had the most drops of any of the QBs in the draft. Which makes total sense given he easily had the least talent around him.

Then They talked about Mayfield having the most wide open receivers and didn't have to throw into tight windows, something he will have to learn to do in the NFL. Along with having to mature. Teams are afraid of his personality.

Funny how the internet dweeb scoops are direct opposite of what actual people have to say

That's not a nightmare. If the Jets take a running back with the 3rd pick: that's a nightmare.

That WR, 3 receptions in the NFL. The TE, about the same on the Patriots. Yup, loaded, lol

He won't fit in NY is the worst reason yet. Just as many country bumpkins flourish in NY as fail. And lots of city guys fall on their faces.

Putting all your eggs in his basket reeks of desperation. I'll go with the guys who do the statistical and video analysis together and then present the facts. But hey, Mayock is cool too.

Mayock, Mooch, Bucky, Warner, LT, all have him way behind. All have major questions about his ability to do in the NFL what he was able to do at Oklahoma. Dont kill the messenger

Mayfield doesn't have a fumbling problem. AFAIK, he never has at any level. I don't think he'll start now.

Besides, why would that be a nightmare scenario? Darnold will get forced onto the field too early with Cleveland and will bust. Allen will be a bust anyway. Rosen may have some early success with the Dolphins, but once he's crunched a few times by NFL DL/OLBs and/or hurts his throwing shoulder again, tears a knee ligament or gets another concussion, he'll walk away from the game. Neither Jackson nor Rudolph are anything to fear. ;)

I disagree. If the Jets take Allen it will be a bloody nightmare! He'll have us all longing for the days of Sanchez, and make him look like a HOFer in comparison.
