Just thought it would be good to have a thread instead of a new thread for every player signed.

Stephon Gilmore to the Pats (No contract details)
Ted Ginn Jr. to the Saints (Cook to be traded?)
    Terrell McLain to Redskins
    AJ Klein to Saints
    Quentin Demps to Bears
    Robert Woods to the Rams
    Torrey Smith to Eagles

Gilmore's deal is rumored to "eclipse $14 mill per year" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...iots-closing-in-on-top-corner-stephon-gilmore

I have always liked Gilmore, I watched him in high school at South Pointe (SC) where he was a beast and at South Carolina but that's a big number. He is a gambler in coverage, which can be good and bad, and is a versatile man or zone CB but he loses focus out there and he is not a good CB at all against the run. I found it interesting that NE made that move. they have to be trading Malcolm Butler now I would think

Wow. That seems out of character. In 2015 all of their CB's combined didn't cost them as much as the $5 million cap hit they had on Revis. Butler's agent must have really pissed them off.

The latest rumors are that Butler is going to the Saints in return NE is getting Cooks. Then they will draft McCafferty. The rich get richer.

And now the talk is the Browns have no intention of keeping Osweiler (basically eating the $16 million and happy with the draft pick they received) and still want Garapollo. They have enough 1st and 2nd round picks over the next two years to make NE an offer they can't refuse.

They are trying to trade him for a 3rd round pick, but will be happy to release him. If he signs after he is cut their cap hit is reduced by his contract for the year. Between their FA signings , and 9 picks in the top 67 the next 2 drafts, plus all their 3rd and 4th round picks, the Browns should have a very competitive team in a year or two.

Butler may not go anywhere, giving NE a pretty serious secondary (one that is already among the NFL's tops)

They are gonna cut RGIII as well, saving $7million. So even after eating Brock's $16million, they are basically only out $9million for the more valued 2nd round pick they got in the trade.

They are trying to trade Butler to the Saints in a separate package. So now they can recoup some picks they gave for Cooks

Doesn't mean they will, just that they might, I'd imagine they would rather keep him, Pats still have north of 30m in cap space and can easily sign both HT and Butler and have around 20m.

No major roster holes outside of leading rusher, draft will likely be used for depth, not impact starters. Early picks arent as vital as they usually are on this roster IMO.
