Gutted, will wait to see what happens in 2020 instead. If i get a sudden influx of cash i will just fly over and come to a game instead. I might just hold off and see if the Gase era is a revolution or a disaster first. To be fair it will not top the last Jets game at Wembley which was a win over the Dolphins.
Bugger it. Can I convince Mrs Donkey that I should go to NY again... this time with her of course... it might work.
Well looks like I get to see another game in JAX Unfortunately the track record for that is pretty bad
Bollocks. Looks like I’ll be going to NY at the start of December. Hopefully we just need to win out (!) by that date.
Sorry to all the UK fans. Hopefully 2020 yields better results. Id like to think a game in London would be one of the few times ownership MIGHT put a mandate to win given logistical circumstances.
Couldn't be the Raiders because the London game is a Raiders "home" game, the Jets are the home team against the Raiders in 2019.
It feels like whenever we play the Raiders it's away...so a home game is rare...unless my memory is failing.
No, it's not failing at all. Sorry you can't see the Jets again on your own turf. Maybe 2020? I'm not even sure why it was originally being bandied about that 2019 was a possibility. Probably a rumor floated about that I missed. Try to look on the bright side. You won't have to see Christoper Johnson's stupid face at the game.
Don't do it, man! I take it back about London somewhat. It would've been a double whammy. You'd have to see both Woody Johnson's and Christopher Johnson's stupid faces (shudders).
As a season ticket holder give me 8 home games at 1:00. I don't think we will have to worry about primetime games coming off the season we just had. If they ever do go to London in the future I just hope its as the road team. I would hate for the Jets to have to give up a home game for this.
I won't lie. I strangely enjoy the early wake up on Sunday AM to watch. I have my breakfast & coffee ready to go, with a beer by halftime. But I'm not mad one bit that we aren't going across the pond.
It used to be that way until the league finally " balanced " the schedules. They play every three years and switch locations each time. Unless they happen to both play a last place schedule then who knows......
Both the Jets and Raiders would have to finish with same standing the previous year though......could happen. Basically a one in eight chance. In 2023 if same formula exists the Jets will definitely play at the Raiders.
