buttle rocks......can u folks imagine back in the 70's and 80's with buttle, gastineau, klecko, and lyons on the field AND in the locker room. no wonder walt michaels hit the booze. yes he was/is a cluster fuck as a color analyst....but so what, many teams have their own blooded color guy and thats part of the history and fun. becht sounds fine and is much better BUT he sure didn't make the impact on the field and with fans like buttle did. becht should have been converted to OT coming out of college. probably would have been all pro and wouldn't have to be on TV right now.
aside from paying $100 for the nfl preseason pass (not happening) - anyone know how I can watch yesterdays game at this point? I forgot to dvr it on nfl network like a fucktard.
NFL Network is replaying it this Tuesday, Aug. 14th at 4:00 p.m. http://www.nfl.com/network/schedule . EDIT (Sun. 12:25 p.m): @NotSatoshiNakamoto @FJF NFL Network just flipped their schedule and the Jets- Falcons are on right now (just stumbled onto this....Teddy just entered the game so it's still early). Again, also on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
I was just about to post this. I'm watching the game again which was something I had no reason to do last year.
Hey... I just noticed something.. Is George Atkinson III the grandson of "Dirty George" Atkinson, perhaps the Second most feared Safety behind "Black Jack" Tatum? Man, that Oakland Secondary couldn't survive in today's NFL but they were indeed Legend.. A lot of you youngins wouldn't have any idea who either of those guys were. I think it was Atkinson that put Darryl Stingley in a wheelchair permanently.
