New FFKL for TGG

    There was a lack or participation last year. Schedules somehow got screwed up. I will PM all owners. If we have less then a 75% return then I will cancel the league. If there is more, I will add from the waitlist.

    Actually, Sci, since I confused the leagues and committed to MBGreen's league, a waitlist guy can take my squad, this will be my fourth league and I feel I'll be over committed.

    Problem is there is like 87 leagues on here. I want to play and hope this league renews.

    As of now we need 5 players. Im not sure if thats something I want to deal with in terms of a Keeper League. Still awaiting 2 responses.

    Whats the point of having a keeper league if half the players in the league arent going to come back? Thats absolutely pointless. I should have had a more careful screen process..

    let everyone know the final decision tomorrow. I need to get ready for work.

    I know it's your league and all, but why disband it? Why not replace the goners with people who are a little more dedicated? I'm in 1 FF league right now. I want to be in a Keeper League so I can focus on that instead of drafting entire new teams each year with new people. I'd be in for the long run. I'm sure MrE, D, Hem, Vis and you are too. Not trying to sound like a whiney bitch, but I want to do this thing.

    I say we scrap the keeper league, make it a money league, get 5 more players and start from scratch.

    We can do either....

    Money Keepers are going to be near impossible though. We dont all know each other and its hard to keep up with.

    The point of a keeper is so owners can keep their players and build their teams to their liking over time. With half the league bailing, it already prevents us from running an effective keeper league.

    Us new guys would just have to inherit somebodies team...no big worries. Tanny didn't throw his entire team away and start over when becoming our GM...almost...but we still have Ellis. :)

    Money leagues are the only way to keep interest throughout the season. I don't see why a money keeper league couldn't work, we would just have to start out new this season with new owners to replace the ones who quit.
