I am shocked that this kid hasn't been suspended for something at this point. Not even talking about this autograph stuff. My sister in law is married to a guy in the TA&M alumni and he has told me more stories than I expected about how over-privileged this kid is. Oil money. People need to stop fooling themselves about him. Johnny Football is a little bitch. I almost hope he goes #1 overall. THAT fall from grace would be worth the price of admission.
Ill tell you one thing. Listening to Colin Cowherd on the radio has made me like this kid more than I should. Colin is a pissy little bitch about everything so I mostly take the opposite of what he says. That being said people talk about how he is just living up his life and the life he was brought up into and I agree. If the dude wants to have fun, let him. Not hurting anyone but himself. I really loved this kid when he first on the Heisman and all eyes are going directly on him to produce BETTER numbers or at least duplicate numbers. He had a once in a lifetime college year. But you hear him bad mouth his school and tweet stupid shit, its going to knock him down a bit. I honestly dont care what he does but even though all this ill be rooting for him.
A better punishment would just be letting him be the QB in the 4th quarter for the Jets last preseason game! :smile:

It's frustrating to think they are suspending him for the 1st half of a game he likely wouldn't play the 2nd half if none of this happened ... How much of a "slap in the face" would it be if A&M was up so big at halftime that they don't even put Manziel in
The NCAA is a joke its pretty much known Mississippi State and Auburn were willing to pay or paid Cam Newton to play for them and yet nothing happens to them. Who knows what went on with Florida when Urban Meyer was at the helm? If he truly was covering for Aaron Hernandez's failed drug test who knows what other shenanigans went on that we don't know about.We know they certainly didn't have a problem keeping players out of trouble with the law oh wait they did. If they were breaking the law of the field it's not out of the realm of possibility to think that they wouldn't be breaking the laws of the NCAA. It even extends beyond the SEC, look at the joke of a punishment at Oregon who was pretty much breaking every recruiting rule known to man but a slap on the wrist is all they got. Maybe the NCAA was afraid of losing the millions maybe even billions of dollars a year that Nike spends with them.
On 3rd down, he makes a nice run for a first. The defensive lineman is jawing at him so Manziel gets in his face and then does the autograph motion ... I laughed.
