No. McDermott already announced that Allen is the starter when healthy. That is the smart thing to do as they are going nowhere. They need to get Allen experience just like the Jets need to get Darnold as much experience as possible. Both teams are playing for 2019 now.
BuffaloPhysco a/k/a buffalojoe started a gloating thread in the main forum after the game about how pathetic the Jets were. He got banned for a month for it for trolling. If anything, the thread should have been moved here. How was it trolling when the guy wasn't wrong and was telling the truth? If you don't like the message shoot the messenger I guess. Just sayin'. And no, I'm not defending this idiot before I start getting death threats. More of a blanket statement.
Even if he was right, Fizzco never hung around to take his medicine. I think he deserved the banning just for that. I'm still waiting for the picture of him with his head up a cow's rear.
Fair enough, I guess, but raiderjoe had the same modus operandi. Physco doesn't post as fake retarded as raiderjoe, but it has given me pause.
Signs with Raiders practice squad today Gruden said of Peterman pre-draft "Peterman is ready to walk in and be a contributor from day one," Gruden wrote at the time. "He just looks like a pro quarterback -- coming out of the huddle, running an offense with different formations, shifting, motioning, different patterns that other colleges don't run. Peterman will recognize route combinations and associate formations. Most importantly, he will be able to get in a huddle from day one and look at 10 grown men and tell them where to go and what to do and handle a versatile snap count. He has a vast amount of experience, not only in running different offenses but dealing with a lot of different teammates in the huddle." Gruden also compared Peterman to Bengals QB Andy Dalton in the same article. Now the Raiders coach will be able to see Peterman's makeup first-hand and attempt to coax better performances out of the turnover-prone backup.
Is anyone really surprised by this? Chucky has been such a joke all season, and he was so loud wrong about Peterman pre-draft, it had to be intoxicatingly appealing to him to have the opportunity to (in his own delusional mind) stick it to his detractors. McCarron's wife had the baby today, so I don't see any reason why he won't be back by Monday night's game; there's no reason to think Peterman is getting off the practice squad anyway.
