Morton gone

Morton is not the Jets problem, he was not dealt a great deal of cards to work with. He is also not a QB expert, this is why you have Bates. The West Coast offense is probably the most popular offensive scheme today. Petty and Hack did not seem to grasp it. There are plenty of other QBs out there who do get it. The Jets need to draft for a future franchise QB and they need to fortify the offensive line. Why do I continue hearing about Petty and Hack? They are not your future franchise QB. Who cares about Petty or Hack? They suck! Is the NY media trying to brainwash Jets fans that they are any good? I don't get it. Let them go just like Geno and lets please move on! I am trying very hard to be a Jet fan, but my God enough with Petty and Hack please!

 

Why?99% of the stuff he reports ends up being true.He doesn't suck up to the franchise and only report the positive bullshit like most Jets reporters.He covers everything ....

I agree that the Jets would not have blocked it, but" attaching assistant HC" to the title does nothing. It's still a lateral move. Per NFL rules a team can only have 1 HC , all others are second tier assistants regardless of title.
That was adopted specifically for anti tampering .

 

Gotta give Manish credit. He was right about Morton not being back next season.
