I hope they are passing on Marrone.

If we get a Seahawks vs Ravens Superbowl Kubiak's offense goes against Quinn's defense.

That would be a great audition for the Jets head coaching job.

If you check Mehta he's already attacking the guy.

Out of the four I rank it: Quinn, Kubiak, Bowles and then Marrone so I really hope we don't get Marrone.

Maccagnan, Kubiak and Casserly would be a Texan's trifecta. Not sure how I feel about that. That franchise is about as snakebitten as the Jets and has been more so in the past. The Texans drafts the last couple of years have not been bad, despite the attempts to make them look bad. Clowney and Nix got hurt, making the drafts seem hollower than they really were. I expect them to look just fine in a couple of years when they can be accurately judged.

@MMehtaNYDN: Although the football backgrounds are different, many people in NFL circles have compared Maccagnan's understated demeanor to... John Idzik

    Lol Mehta.

I watched an interview, he's quiet but he's much more likable than Lurch, I mean Idzik.....

Ultimately though I could careless if he couldn't put a sentence together as long as he brings in talent. I like his long-time football background, we'll see if that makes a difference for this team.

You really think so? I mean they did draft the best overall player in the whole game, in my opinion.

I haven't really paid much attention to Houston in general though

He's director of scouting not their GM. But Watt was a pretty good draft pick.

Damn, Mehta already hates this guy.

Not ready to be a GM apparently. Cut two third round picks after a year. Wasnt director of scouting for Watt. Different background, but somehow similar to Idzik lol.

Cushing and Andre Johnson weren't bad either.

The funny thing is that no one has a clue who would be a good GM outside of football circles. Wikipedia doesn't even have anything on these guys. So I love the "this guy will be horrible!" nonsense we see.

The media pulling the narrative as usual. I can't believe people are using the pro bowl as a measuring stick for him already. On top of that, who's to say he even drafted those guys? The GM, Head Coach, and owner all possibly/probably outrank him. No one has a clue.
