Yeah, that one makes the voice box ones seem positively cheery.

I remember in another thread people were saying not to walk Burrell in a big situation.

I don't care what you believe in, Burrell has shown that he always seems to kill the Mets.
Yeah, this time it was Brian Lawrence, but he's always getting extra base hits against us.

lawrence sucks and whenever he starts, we can expect to lose

Have the floodgates opened already? We gotta squeeze some innings out of this guy for our bullpen's sake.

I got called away, but had to come back and note something from before. According to Keith, it's hard for either team to win 3 out of 4 in a 4-game series. He needs to go back to school and learn some probability, I'm afraid. In an evenly matched series, the probability of a 2-2 split is .375; the probability that one team or the other will win 3 of 4 is .5 (the probability that one or the other team will sweep is .125). Thus, the most likely occurrence of those three possibilities is that one or the other team will take 3 out of 4.

dunno why it'd be hard to win 3 of 4. he's saying that 4 game series will usually split?

    ok, perfect game broken up.

Braves leading 10-2 on Florida. Pathetic

Lawrence allowed to bat in the top of the 5th with men on 1st and 3rd with two outs. I'm not one to prefer pitchers being pulled early, but given Lawrence's suckiness, I'd pull him here.

Well, that was the other reason for pulling Lawrence. He still sucks as a pitcher.

yet another day of burning out the bullpen. lawrence is nearing 90 pitches. this is what happens when you send guys out there to start games who are not major league-caliber at all

Willie only NOW is getting someone up in the bullpen. Did he not notice how pathetic Lawrence has been the entire game? If Lawrence gives up a run right now, it's all on Willie.
