maybe Pelfreys calling is for him to go to the pen, like Heilman did. Its a risk but many have made the adjustment, like Wagner, Rivera. Also many failed so its a toss up.
and credit to omar for waiting and waiting.. he could have EASILY added fmart 3 weeks ago to get the deal done but he was stubborn and it paid off.
I agree. I'm not the biggest supporter of what Omar's done this offseason or the past one, but not including FMart was a great decision in the end. The only one I'm really sad to see go is Guerra, but he's still really young and there are no guarantees there. Mulvey profiles to a #3 at best at this point, although I did like what I heard about him last season. Gomez seems like a Reyes clone in the OF, although I'd like to see how he develops. Humber's a throw in here, which is sad because the guy used to be so highly regarded. However, I don't know how he even profiles anymore. I don't understand why some Yankee fans are being so arrogant about this. The Mets gave up a decent package that was ultimately underwhelming but the Twins obviously panicked here. I can understand you being happy to keep your guys and not see him go to Boston, that's fine. But don't be classless and wish injury on the guy or anything. Seriously.
he won't get a full season again. That's why I hated giving four years and a lot of money to a guy whose body broke down a few years ago. oh well...
25 bucks plus the 10 bucks for shipping and tax from majestic. good lookin shirt though. I have him and Pedro now and plan to wear the shirts every day they pitch
