Per Mehta Not happy to hear this....seems like he really has an injury bug. I think Middleton is a solid replacement. Hopefully Skrine and or Try is back this week
This guy just cannot stay healthy. It's a bit alarming honestly, even going back to college. "Hello, Cardinals? Yes this is Mike Maccagnan calling in regards to Deone Bucannon..."
Not good. I believe there guys who are injury prone, and it's looking like Maye is one of them. That's a big hole that we thought we had fixed. Let's hope he recovers fully and stays healthy.
He will play christ Kevin mawae played with a club at center. If he can do it Maye can do it suck it up
Probably see him against the pats after the bye. Idk his college stats or anything, but he played every game last year. Broken bone in your hand seems like random than injury prone.
New York Jets safety Marcus Maye broke his right thumb in Sunday's victory over the Indianapolis Colts according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Maye, a second-round pick out of Florida in 2017, missed the first three games of the regular season with a foot injury. The 25-year-old was seen sporting a cast after the Colts game. The reported timeline for the injury is three-to-four weeks but he could return sooner and play with a cast. Doug Middleton filled in for Maye earlier this season, but Terrence Brooks got the snaps on Sunday. Either player is a significant downgrade after Maye's stellar rookie season.
What is this injury prone talk coming from? He played every game last year. He got hurt this year early so now he's injury prone? Am I missing something?
If Tru and Skrine don’t get back Sunday could get ugly. Diggs and Thielen are machines and Cousins is on a monster pace.
We need him out there, not only because he's un upgrade to the safety position, but also so the defense can continue to grow together and develop the chemistry they need to be a force for years to come. He's a big piece of that core unit and it sucks not having him out there. I understand it'll impact some ability for interceptions and tackling, but it's a thumb. Is it really not possible to just throw a cast/club on and let him keep playing?
yeah the vikes will be tough for sure. cousins is a great QB. theilien and diggs are great WRs too. theilen IIRC is the only WR in the NFL with at least 100 yards every game this year. cook is a really good RB as well and their D is pretty tough. not going to be an easy game at all, but then again they whiffed against the bills so who knows
Breaking your thumb does not make you "injury prone". He broke his thumb and needs time for it to heal. Big deal. Injury prone? Laughable.
