He's on ESPN radio right now - said he does not want to play for a team that does not want him. He feels that because the Jets advised him that he could seek a trade, that they do not want him anymore.

When he was asked about Pennington's status, he stated that if he were to stay with the Jets, he would want Pennington as his QB. He pointed out that the Jets win more with him than without him. Couldn't agree more...

Your right, we do win with him. But it's also because of him that we lose most of the time.

We don't need an aging Center on the downturn of his career either. We're rebuilding. It makes sense to trade him in return for something that will help us in the future. Unfortunately, both the Jets and Mawae will quickly find out that there isn't exactly a huge market out there for him. At best we'd get a 2nd rounder, and I wonder even about that. Maybe we can trade both Abe and Mawae to Texas for their first, or maybe their 2nd adn 3rd this year and a 1st next year, but those sound like pipe dreams.

This sucks. Hes been our best offensive linemen for years and was very good until he got hurt. This sucks.

I think we're making a mistake with Maawe. He has 1-2 years of quality center play left.

I think we're gonna regret this.

    More OL questionmarks........ : (

Man WTF did Mawae do to deserve this. The guy has been the team leader/backbone of our line for years. I agree there is no love in NY with the new management.

Mawae has been running at the mouth way too much for well over a year now. With no CBA, he'll be lucky to get 2 mil from someone this year. He's shot himself in the foot, this time. Get the F out, Kevvy. Have fun on the beach in a nice warm place somewhere other than NY...... we know you hated Long Island, you said so. BYE-bye! And kiss my ass.

    I'm dissapointed.

Guy can still play, and I don't think his cap number is that bad.

Fabini, Mawae, and Probably Kendall all gone. 3 holes on the line, and neither Jones or Moore are exactly stars. Going to be very rough next year.

Fabini is no loss. He has been a sack of shit since 2003.
