What is with the hardon for Leonard on this site. With the amount of needs on this team, picking Leonard in the 2nd would be a disastrous selection. Luckily I think this FO is smart enough to know, you just don't pick FBs in the second round..

Is he not the starting FB for his college team? I've read the 3 pages on Leonard & I'm amazed that so many people would be willing to spend a 2nd round pick on a FB.Especially with the amount of needs this team has.

This is the draft board, some people enjoy talking about the draft all year. Wouldn't it be easier for you to just avoid the draft section of this forum rather than going into every thread just to say the same thing over & over. We know the season is still going on.

Yeah you are right. The draft section isn't for me. and you all do know the season is still going on. Nothing wrong with talking about the future.

alright, he is a fullback, but he is also MUCH MORE then just a FB. He can line up at RB and TE and still be very effective. He has excellent hands, good speed, good power, and incredible versatility.

He is better classified as an "H-Back". Think Chris Cooley circa 2005, but MUCH better

Jesus. Mock drafts this early are so dumb. I can understand one like a week before the draft but not 6 months before it.

Yes he is a FB that can do more.. Everyone is justy assuming he can play the HBack position, which I'm sure he can. We still have needs way more important than a FB hybrid who has never played the position.

That's more than likely what you want to happen. The top 5 picks aren't even predictable the night before the draft.

    Go away then.

In response to Vision. It is because at least 80% of the people on this board are from NY/NJ and are homers for their team. We all do it, I push VT players, GH pushes Miami players, etc. It is just excessive about Leonard because it is the first time Rutgers has meant anything and because of the amount of people from the area.

I've been wanting Leonard for the last 2 and a half years.

I was hoping he would come out early last year, and the Jets would grab him in the 3rd round, before he got all of this hype.
