The only advantage the Jets have is that they are at home.

Slauson could be woise, but he could be better, too. The guy who's been a bit shaky has been Ferguson.

Wow, definitely overrating the Packers. Jets have a better overall defense AND running game.

Let's wait until we see the Packers face a good offense before we anoint their defense. Last year they feasted on bad offenses and sucked against good ones.

Our defense should be able to limit that offense too.

The Eagles have some weapons on that team. Vick made that game closer than it should have been if Kolb didn't get hurt.

They aren't an easy opponent, even though the Jets have a decent track record against that franchise, IIRC.

They match up very well with the Jets defense.

They also have a extremely talented QB. They match up well.

Right - they smothered Kolb and got lit up by Vick. Sounds about like how they fared last season. The question is will our offense be good?

I don't think they match up very well with our defense because they have a below average run game and a poor o-line. Teams like the fins who run very well and can pass match up better IMO.

    I do think they're a good team.

I forgot that Grant is out for the year. Okay, that does help the Jets, making the Packers more one dimensional.

Rodgers is still a top 5 QB, and he has a receiving corp that mirrors the Jets. That's why I think it'll be a tough game. TE's seem to have career games against the Jets, I see Finley being no different.

    One possession game.

An interesting thought crossed my mind - if the Fins were a NFC team, the Jets could probably beat them with ease.

The Bills maybe but I'm not so sure about the Dolphins. They have a much better pass rush than New England. Their OLBs have been bringing a ton of heat so far.

    Against two shit offenses.

The Fins haven't faced a good offense and the Jets have faced better pressure than Miami when they played Baltimore.

Playing Baltimore before the two divisional games, I think, helped this team prepare for divisonal opponents who aren't as good.
