    Thats sucks for Rivera. He is the man. I agree with all that hope this is not the last of Rivera. He probably won't want to go out like this either, so I could see him rehabbing and coming back next year, but he is pretty old. He might call it a career.

    im with you on that he is the greatest closer not just for the yankees but in mlb i hope he return for one more world series title.

    While this sucks and I'd never wish it anybody, I think he'll come back stronger and better than before. The physical therapy will make him extremely strong, and since he doesn't need to do much running, I think he'll come back better, since he'll be much stronger.

    I've torn both my ACLs by the way (1 in left knee, 2 in right knee), so I can safely say that you become much stronger after your first torn ACL, but after that, it definitely goes downhill. If he tears it again, I'd say he's done, but one ACL tear doesn't mean it's the end for him.
