No argument I like Cook also but not at 6. He's kinda smallest and we already have Powell. The RB I like is Freeman from Texas. This guy is big as Fournette and maybe faster. Take a look at him.

I'll need to look at more film of him. In that video, it didn't show him catching one pass. He definitely looks fast for his size, but I didn't see any sharp cuts. His cuts were more rounded off and weaving more than sharp cuts. With that running style, I'm not sure he'll have that much success in the NFL, at least not in comparison with Fournette or Cook.

6'1 249 nobody would want to tackle this guy in the 4th quarter. I looked up his receiving stats and you are right he only had 7 receptions. But they didn't throw to Earl Campbell either at Texas. But this guy was running away from guys and that is something we can use on this team at all times. I've seen 3rd round grade on him and I would jump on him there. That would great value. That if we go QB/WR or CB/OT first 2 rounds.

I would agree with this, if, I actually believed any of these QBs were franchise caliber players.

    I don't.

There's 1 qb I think that could be good and that's Watson. None of the other guys are worth the 6th pick.

Jets have made a lot of dumb decisions in regards to the draft. Selecting a RB at 6 would be amongst the dumbest of decisions. RBs are the last piece of a rebuild, not 1st.

If you want to be kinda sorta relevant like the Vikings were with AP in his prime.

Then sure, it's a great idea.

You never know who would be that franchise guy. 23 teams passed on A-A-Ron, Favre went in the second round and Joe Montana in the 3rd. We all know where Brady was found. My thing is draft one every year until you find one.

If you can find him the later rounds like those QBs, I'm all for it. Using your 6th pick in the draft on a huge gamble isn't worth it.

To be fair, Ron Wolf knew Favre would be that franchise guy but the Jets used their first rounder in the supplemental draft the prior year to get Rob Moore. We had a deal in place with the Cardinals to move up and they reneged.

You never know where you will find them. You don't think in a redraft Brady would go #1. If you find one for the next 12 years nobody on the planet will care where you grabbed him. If it works out then all the other teams will look like morons for passing on them. The Jets now have to figure out what system they will be running. Gailey's clunker offense is gone and I believe that is the best thing right now because its sucked. I'm excited about the Morton hire and what he can do with the young receivers. Also finally we might even throw in the direction of a TE. Instead of having lunkheads like Kellen Davis the 19 other bums we had on the roster as TE's. They couldn't catch a cold nor block a soul.

Don't worry he'll be selected in the top 10 [hopefully by the Jets], and you'll still continue to look like an idiot. *Thumbs up*

when i watch hooker tape tho marshon lattimore always catches my eye tho hard not to look at him so talented, hip movement on point, always playing the ball and when has a step behind steps in front of the receiver to undercut is routes. I dunno if he isnt a safer pick then hooker but its hard evaluate a true free safety tho i admit that a corner is much easier.

They both stand out on tape no doubt about it. Both of them are going to be very good, but I think Hooker has All Pro potential / DPOTY potential. if the Jets want to really look to rebuild the secondary, they can address corner in the 3rd round, this guy could erase the big plays down the field as a single high safety. Hooker has insane range, fluid movement, speed and great ball skills [he played basketball also]. He's the perfect FS for the modern NFL. The things he brings to the table are elite level.

Yet another "D" pick with the 1st pick.

Look up Einstein's definition of Insanity.

Top 10 how much money you got to lose? I guess you missed those glaring bad angle tackle "attempts" and technique on your little film. He might go top 10 but he won't be going to the Jets and for that I'm thankful. Canadian League was to generous. He's Lingerie League material. Even those girls hit harder than him lol.
